Your first useful result
Start with a clearly labelled practice task. First ask for a read. Then use a small text file you already have permission to upload, such as a file containing only “Forge connection check”. Do not ask the agent to manufacture a local file from chat.
In my Forge workspace, create a task called “Practice — safe connection check”. Add one step: “Confirm Forge connection”. Attach the small text file I selected through Forge’s supported file route. Do not create a public share link or change any other file access. Then read the task back and tell me the exact task, attachment and access you found.
Check the title, step and attachment in the expected workspace. If you selected another supported surface, open it there and ask for a readback before treating cross-surface access as confirmed. If it is wrong, stop and check the product connector settings and Forge sign-in. Once confirmed, ask the agent to identify the exact practice task and attachment, then remove that task and file only if the file was created solely for this check. Read-only users should only run the harmless read and ask an administrator to confirm writing.
