Getting started
Finding your way around
A workspace is the home for one business, team or job. It contains only the material your account is allowed to see. The sidebar moves between workspaces and their main areas; start there instead of recreating information you have not yet found.
Use the right place for the job
- Tasks hold a piece of work: its outcome, steps, activity and supporting context.
- Files hold source material such as drawings, photographs and documents.
- Pages are reusable workspace views, such as a dashboard or a focused guide.
- Forms collect repeatable answers. What follows a submission depends on that form's own setup.
Open a task when you need the full story behind a request. Look at its steps, comments, facts and attachments before deciding what to do next. Open files from their task or from the workspace file area when you need the original material.
A reliable first pass
Choose the workspace, scan active tasks, then open the task closest to your immediate outcome. Use search or ask an agent to find existing work before creating a duplicate. If an item is not visible, treat that as an access or location question and ask the workspace owner rather than guessing.
Prompts to try
Give me a short, read-only tour of this workspace: active tasks, useful pages and recent files that relate to [my goal].
Find existing work about [subject]. Show the most relevant tasks and files, explain why they match, and do not create anything.
Next steps
Use Tasks to keep a job together, and Files and storage when you need its source material. Connect an agent only after you can identify the correct workspace.
