Drawings and pins
A pin records a point on a drawing, plan, photo, map or schematic. It is useful when a written note such as “by the rear door” would leave room for doubt.
Record an issue against the source
Open the form or task that contains the drawing, add the pin at the relevant place and include the note your workspace asks for. The pin stays tied to the supplied source, so someone reviewing the record can see what it referred to.
Check the drawing or image revision before adding a pin. A pin on an older revision can still be useful evidence, but it should not be mistaken for a mark on the latest plan. Keep the task or form response with the pin so the reason and source remain clear.
For [job], find the drawing used for the inspection and tell me whether there is an image-pin form ready to use.
